Norman Rockwell

Norman Rockwell's original artwork of the Boy Scouts of America will be on display at the Provo City Library today and tomorrow. I saw this exhibit 25 years ago at the Springville Art Museum. It was breathtaking. It is valued at $6 million dollars.

This is actually a private exhibition. It is only open to the public during the following times.

Tuesday 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm
Wedneday 10:00 am until 2:00 pm

Beautiful Mt. Timpanogos

The Provo River

Mount Timpanogos is a gorgeous venue whether you are hiking it or just driving through. This week in the library we will be see a power point presentation and talk about the history and legend of this spectacular place. Included are the animals that live there, the habitat, the Indians, Ray Stewart, "Timp Roberts" and the "hike" that nearly ruined it all.

BIL LEPP
five time winner
West Virginia's Liar Contest

My favorite storyteller this year was Bil Lepp, five time winner of The West Virginia's Liar Contest. He was hilarious. I purchased two of his CDs and we will listen to one of his stories in the library this week.

"Once Upon a Time..." by James Christensen

I won't be in the library tomorrow. I am going to the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival in Provo Canyon. It is sure to be an amazing experience and I will bring back some CD's so that you will be able to hear a few of the stories. Hope all goes well. Mrs. Gordon will be the "sub."

P.S. We have already sold over half of the tickets for "Mystery Night in the Library." Hurry and finish your book. There are still tickets available from Miss Merriweather.

See you there!
